Had this too - after clicking on a news item on my facebbook. Will run virus check and ignore.
I had this yesterday-was quite panicked! My partner said it was a scam-I ran a PC Scan and no threats detected. Didn't phone the number,just shut down,restarted,and everything seems ok now.
08000903233 - Just had a full page warning (claiming to be from Microsoft) of a 'critical alert ' re suspicious activity on my PC. It came up on my computer screen and asked me to immediately call this No, so that they can 'talk me through' how to deal with the problem. Suspect a SCAM going on! Has anyone else had this?
