Caller stated my name and asked for confirmation details, i said 'no' and hung up.
Has rung twice a day every day for last week since and i've answered call and remained silent, causing them to end call after 10 - 20 seconds.
Have now set Iphone to 'Do Not Disturb' with 'allow calls from all contacts' .
An alternative to the silent treatment is a particularly shrill whistle :-)
