They ask for personal details right from the start on the basis that they have part of your post code etc, don't tell them. Just go to Vodafone's web site or ring them from a number on their site if you want one of their deals.

Agree that its not fake. They ask for DPA as anyone could answer your phone. Its an 08 number as hundreds of people in this job is not going to call from a landline. Dont be rude to them they are humans after all. If you have concerns you could phone customer services on 191. But most of the time.. network customers cry about the wait time! If you dont want them to call you then ask nicely. People complain about everything and anything lol

Its is defo not a scam and it is vodafone as I 100% know this because I work for them. You are being rang for a reason.. Possibly an early upgrade or loyality discount. Your loss really when you can take advantage of the great offers for you. Vodafone is a large company and one of the best networks in the world! Not just the UK, thats why we deal with a wide range of customers out side of stores!!
