I made the mistake of answering the phone to this number in early June. A recording claimed I had won an i pad and to phone a PREMIUM rate number to claim it. Obviously a SCAM. I barred the number but every week I get a voice mail from this number saying something about pressing 9 to cancel. DON'T press 9. It's will call a PREMIUM RATE number. There is no way to stop these people. All you can do is bar them and check who called before checking your voice mail. These CRIMINALS are really irritating me and I'd like to see them in prison soon.
My son got one of these calls, was waiting for a call from college so listened to the voicemail, WHICH THEN TOOK ALL HIS REMAINING PHONE CREDIT. He then couldn’t call home to tell me his train was cancelled and he needed a lift. Luckily he was able to borrow a phone to call home. I’m livid – he’s only a kid and could have been stuck miles from anywhere as we live away from town. Wish these scumbags would have all their own money stolen by thieves like themselves, because basically all they’re after are bank details to rip us off. We should be able to report these thieves and get each number closed down – after all, someone must own the numbers they use surely?
No message just cold call
Called me once, left recorded answer message. Have now blocked caller.
