I received a call today, Oct 14,2011 from the Government Grants Dept.stating that I was to receive $7,000 grant money from the Dept of US Treasury and that this was not a loan and would not have to pay back. Reason for being selected for this grant was: I have been a good citizen, pay my taxes on time yearly and that I have not declared bankruptcy in the past 12 months. I must use this money for Good Purposes Only...not for gambling, alcohol, drugs, etc...Gave me a confirmation # and was told to call James Miller, Financial Officer at 202-905-0682. I did and Mr. Miller repeated what I was already told, told me the money would be wire transferred from Bank of New York but first I needed to "donate" at small one time fee of $120 for the "Poor Children something,something Foundation and use Western Union to do so. Told him that would be impossible considering I am unemployed with absolutely no money to donate. Told me when I had the donation money available, call back and the grant would sitll be honored!!!!!!!
