This is a fax line that was given in a very convincing scam letter informing me that my property taxes are past due and requesting that I send proof of my last mortgage payment, IF I disagreed with them about the late payment. Everything else in the letter appears legit, except that it is signed by “tax department, escrow administration”. We are not behind in payments. We are not in escrow, either.
