Hi There,

I love all the posts, I really enjoyed.
I would like more information about this, because it is very nice., Thanks for sharing.

We are using Pega Platform 7.2.2 on Tomcat 8.5.15. We are making calls using SOAP Connectors over HTTPS as a client, but the server is presenting a certificate that has a CRLDP extension with an invalid URI. Is there a way to turn off CRL checking of a certificate within Pega? Tomcat has a crlFile attribute that if not defined it should not check against a CRL, however, this doesn’t affect the Pega Training .
The error happens from the InvokeAxis2 activity, but the exception is thrown from “sun.security.ssl.X509TrustManagerImpl.validate(X509TrustManagerImpl.java:326) at sun.security.ssl.X509TrustManagerImpl.checkTrusted”. Are there any extension points within the Private API to modify behaviour of these classes?
By the way do you have any YouTube videos, would love to watch it. I would like to connect you on LinkedIn, great to have experts like you in my connection (In case, if you don’t have any issues).
Please keep providing such valuable information.

Thank you,
Preethi.

Hi There,

Hip Hip Hooray! I was always told that slightly slow in the head, a slow learner. Not anymore! It’s like you have my back. I can’t tell you how much I’ve learnt here and how easily! Thank you for blessing me with this effortlessly ingestible digestible content. Pega tutorial USA

I'm new in Pega Robotics and starting to make a bot. I would like to ask some help. I'm creating a bot wherein in a web page there's a table. The number of rows is not fix and inside the row there's a link. I have an input data item wherein if the value of data item is equal to the text value of link then bot will click the link.

Anyways great write up, your efforts are much appreciated.

Gracias

Hi There,

Gratitude for putting up this prolific article! You truly make everything a cake walk. Genuinely good stuff, saving time and energy.

we have a custom pega application for our back office ( i.e. no pega frameworks ) . we now want to implement Cuts Service for Insurance as our front end call centre application . there are a subset of users that will play both front office csr role as well as back office processing associate. we are wondering if we should Pega Training implement cuts service as a separate application on the same db as back office application and take advantage of common tables vs installing a separate instance with separate db and communication b/w the systems thru rest services etc. ours is not a big implementation , so wondering if there are any suggestions and points to consider .
It was cool to see your article pop up in my google search for the process yesterday. Great Guide.
Keep up the good work!

Thanks,
Abhiram

Hi There,

Smokin hot stuff! You’ve trimmed my dim. I feel as bright and fresh as your prolific website and blogs!

In Pega CTI - IVR Integration with Avaya , When customer enters IVR Information and choose an Option to talk to CSR. The call is placed in Queue and my requirement is :
During this time prefetch should happen in pega , which reads the IVR Information and performs prefetch of customer data.
As per my understanding the following steps happen :
CTI link is established with Avaya in Pega
2.When customer is in Queue , CallCtlConnAlertingEv Java Service is triggered. The activity in this Service identifies the call data and creates the pega call clipboard structure which has only call data(Call ID ; Extension etc) but not IVR data.
To perform prefetch , In the above step activity i have to define a connector to connect IVR ; fetch the customer entered IVR data based on call ID and do prefetch in pega customer Service database.
I would like to know , Is my understanding correct or any other prefered OOTB way to achieve it.

Awesome! Thanks for putting this all in one place. Very useful!

Grazie,
Irene Hynes

Hi Buddie,

What a brilliant post I have come across and believe me I have been searching out for this similar kind of post for past a week and hardly came across this.

I am a new RPA developer. I went through a 4 month course for my job only to get on site to realize that my group and I have not learned about the interaction framework or how to use Activities and so I have several questions:
We have been browsing over previous teams' work and realize that activities are a core part of their development work, however whenever we have tried to recreate using activities we have a limited selection of properties, events and methods for the activities we create compared to code we were trying to recreate. How do we gain access to more methods, events and properties for our activities?
Another thing we have observed is that activities seem to contain automations and other automations call these activities (like a method); how do we create automations within activities?
One of my teammates have also noticed that in a lot of the videos we have been trying to watch many of the people use designer studio to create activities (?) but we do not have that software (if it is a separate software from VS).
What is the difference between an Activity and a Bot Activity?
When do you use an Activity versus calling the execute of another automation?

I read multiple articles and watched many videos about how to use this tool - and was still confused! Your instructions were easy to understand and made the process simple.

Regards,
Morgan
