Pre-recorded message stated that by pressing 1, I could speak with an agent about lowering interest rates to as low as 6.9% on my credit card. Agent whom I spoke with said she was with "Consumer Account Services", unaffiliated with my credit card companies, and that they had "sent me a letter 2 months ago", to which I had not responded. Agent continually interrupted me, persistently trying to "verify" my account information - I attempted to find out more about the company before giving out any personal information - I asked if the company had a rating with the BBB. Agent said she had only been working with the company for 1 week and didn't know, but could get the info for me if I would hold. I agreed, and then was cut off.
