Yes, we got a call. I told him he should be ashamed of himself scamming on the pensioners and retirees as well. He hung up on me. I called back 15 mins later and continued to tell him what I thought of him. Hung up again!

In Adelaide, SA - An Indian lady claiming to be from the Federal government sending me a cheque for $7500 because of overcharged bank fees. Need to call Alan Johnson or Maria Edwards with a reference number to arrange the cheque.
The entire call sounded like a scam. I said if you have all my details just said me the cheque, she said I have still have to call them first.
Strange that my bank does not charge me any bank fees anyway. She also asked which bank I was with. If she knew my bank had overcharged me how come she did't know which bank I was with?

Yes I had a call to ring this number and they said they were from a government department saying that the government was giving back money the lady's name was Maria Edwards and there was an Alan Johnson on the other name of the manager they offered me $7,593 that they were going to give back to me they told me that a check will be sent in the mail within 24 to 48 hours then I had to go to the post office and get a Western Union form to pay back $350 to the lawyers that the government provided they told me to ring them back when I get the Western Union form so she can go through it step by step with me to fill it out of course when she asked my date of birth I gave them a bogus date. 1 hour later I was sitting there thinking these bastards can't get away with this so I rang them back and told him I know it was a scam and she agreed with me and hung up so watch out people remember these names AlAN JOHNSON and MARIA EDWARDS and their phone number 026140 3493
