Just an update: twice when this number has called me and I've answered it has been an indian lady who seems to be reading from a script in regards to weight loss. If you ask her a question she usually has no idea how to answer and starts talking about whatever product it is she's selling. I couldn't really understand the product name, who she was or what she wanted because her accent was quite thick.
Both times I've ended up hanging up on her out of frustration.

Just happened to me, I tired to call back and I get the message:
"Optus has advised that the number you have dialed has been disconnected"

I'm in Australia and I have no idea why someone from NZ would be calling me.

same thing happened to me. I tried to call them back but the number is disconnected. I suspect it is an overseas person using a NZ number (not sure how) but it comes up with the country code when they call which isn't something that would normally happen from a normal 06 number

I've received about 12 calls from this number since the 18th June - all at different hours of the day & never with a voicemail left. Have since blocked this number as I believe it is spam/scam or telemarketing.

Don't ever answer a number you don't know - if they want to reach you, they can leave a voicemail.much safer that way.
