I got this call this evning the said they found my resume on kijijj and asked me some questions about what work i did .... i found that weird since he had my resume in front of him so i said you have my resume you can see what i have done what are you looking for... that is when he got quit rude calling me names like fat bitch and cunt ect

A man called, and asked specifically for me, then said that it was a matter of national security and that i needed to evacuate my house right away, then hung up.

I trie returning the call, but magic jack said thar the "area code" is required.

Called more than 6 times in one hour. When I said "Hello" someone would say "Hello" & did some heavy breathing into the reciever so I hung up. They kept calling until it was quitting at the zoo I guess. I was just nervous that they'd never quit. Sounded like they were trying to disguise thier voice or trying to sound like a man.

I called this business and i hung up on them because of a weird accent. When she call back, 26669-6687 appeared on my caller ID.. I said "Who are you?" I just got 2 calls on my magic jack from that number, at first i was kinda scared, (i was in the dark),& The second time they called they didnt respond, i got sooo scared i started crying and threw the phone on the floor and ran out of my room, the number scared me soo much, i feel relieved that it was just some stupid company, i thought it was the devil or something...lol i feel dumb now...haa

My neighbor has a blocked number and the 266696687 number shows up on the phone every time she calls BUT when I check my notification emails from magicjack her real phone number shows up .
I get an email every time someone leaves a message from magicjack saying "you have a new message from phone number ***-***-****.

My neighbor was quite ticked off when she realized that blocking her number did not work when magicjack sent the notification email.
So if you have set up magickack to send you an email every-time someone leaves a message you should be able to see who is calling you with a blocked number.
The 266696687 number is just magicjacks way of displaying a blocked number.
The callers blocked phone number will be displayed in your email notification from magicjack.
So before anyone decides to bust someones eardrums with a bull horn or scream obscenities into the phone you may want to read the notification emails magicJack has been sending you.
Before I realized what was happening I felt like throwing my phone out the window.

I just activate my phone and I started receiving calls from this number. But nobody answers ! Should I reported to the police?

This number keeps calling me several times a day but they leave no message and when I answer they don't respond!!! STOP!!!

This woman called to say i was approved for a GOVERMENT GRANT . i have not filed any thing at all .. when I said now they hung up. when i called back to ask questions the number would not call!@

This number has called me four times now. The first time my aunt called them back and got "This test has been successful". Still they called again. I am also on the DNC list, but am going to check that my two years isn't up. You are only put on the list for a limited time, so give your status a check.

I hear Wi-Max Communications (www.wimax-com.com) is the culprit and that the calls are part of a test or survey to discover how many phones are now internet based. I cannot validate this information, but will do a lil more research on Win-Max.
