This number belongs to a company which from what I can tell, is trying to swindle people out of their money.

They first start by saying your loan application has been approved, in my case £1300. Obviously, I have made no applications. They rattle of all your personal details. Name, address, postcode etc. Then once you tell them that's right, but have made no applications, they say someone has been making claims in your name and that you should check your credit report immediately.

They then transfer you to another person, but because I cut them off and they phoned back, I had the liberty to overhear the transfer conversation. All very organised with plenty of reference numbers and the like. Definitely not a hapastance matter.

They try and set you up with what they say is an Experian credit report, however, I already have Experian credit reports set up, so I doubt even this matter.

Watch out for this scam and be vigilante.
