Verizon cannot block international calls. This number shows up on my cell phone as 917842270588 at all hours of the day and night. The 1 am and 3 am calls are driving me over the edge. These calls are coming from India. Can somebody make it stop?

Since Jan 27, 2012, starting at 3:02 a.m., I have received more than 30 calls from 917842270588. These calls come at 3 or 4 times a day but, the worse is that there's always a 3:00 a.m. call. I have had Verizon check the number but they have come up with nothing. I've tried to answer the call but there's no one there.

Finally, I asked Verizon to block the number, which they did, using 9178422705 as the number to be blocked.

Now I've checked and I realize these calls are coming from India!!! This is an Indian cell phone ... the 91 is just a overseas code.

Please ... someone, help make these calls stop!
