Apparently the reason ppl get cut off as soon as you answer it is cuz at the same time as the phone call to you, they are calling about 20 other people, and the first person to answer from them 20 get to speak to the company. This is there way of getting alot of people at the same time and they can keep your phone number in record. Also it saves them money, as they are not getting much from customers!! Do not go with them!! THEY ARE A SCAM!!
I've been called by this company pretending to be O2 a number of times. I have actually asked them to take my name off their database more than once. The last time I did so the girl I spoke to said that she would. However, since then I've been called at least twice a day by an automated message. I don't bother to listen to it all but I guess it wants me to call it back. I don't see why I should. I have now registered with telephone preference service. Maybe that will help. I've also stored the number in my 'number screening' in my mobile so at least the phone doesn't ring when they call. (I still get the 'missed call' message though.)Thing is, I don't know why O2 are bothering to employ these people. My message to O2 is simple: because you use these people, I wouldn't use your company even if you were the only mobile phone supplier in the UK. Anyone know the O2 MD's name and address so I can tell him in person?
I am glad I have found it is O2. We were about to take a contract out for two phones with them - I will not buy from any company who markets their products in this way,
Only upgraded with O2 last night, this number made 3 attempts to call me at work. Tried to call back to establish who it was, couldn't get through.
Im on vodafone, i just got a call from this number 5 minutes ago and googled it. Now i know who it is, thankyou :D
