They're LBC Direct Marketing, a company that poses as genuine ones (at the companys' bidding, apparently) to spam you with service offers:http://www.dynamoo.com/diary/lbm-direct-marketing.htmI managed to answer mine, the guy talked for a while (very quickly, very convincingly) then asked for my postcode. That was when I hung up.I'm morbidly curious what else he would have asked for. It sounded more like fraud than spam to me, but apparently they do it a lot and have received thousands of complaints. I recommend you join the ranks of protestors.

got call several time from this number. my ph always on slient and never answer 0800 number but it's so annyoing.

yeah I have been called by this number, a bloke from northern ireland who sounds like a nice enough guy but its the same old aggressive sales technique, kept telling me he could send me a new sim card there and then, and that he had sent me an email to prove he was genuine. i don't like being rude to people but i think it might be best with these callers cos otherwise you never get off the phone!

They've foned me twice in 24 hours i just send back a busy tone, I did as most of you did typed in the number of caller in google and first link brought me here.I'm going into Carphone Warehouse to ask them about this if enough of us hassled our providers we should see some action.Thanks

Just got my first call from them, i hung up around when they started asking for my bank detailswont be answering them again no matter how much they try

This is the 2nd time in past year that I have had to contact this company to remove me from their list. Just this week I actually answered the call after numerous missed calls and told them to remove my number at once. It hasn't stopped - just called the number above and spoke to complaints, I said they were breaking the law as I am registered with the Telephone Preferencing Service. Told them if I got 1 more call I'd be contacting OFCOM.
