I answered and it was on behalf of O2. I somewhat regret handing over details now ... But i'm genuinely interested in upgrading the phone package i'm using now :pIs there any real reason to suspect fraud? I checked with O2 and they told me these messages were backed by them ... I'll keep super close eye on my bank account anyway, but perhaps if I'm nice to them they won't cold-call me anymore ^_^

There is no e-mail address. You do it by completing OFCOM's online form. The more people who complain the better. Here is the link:http://www.ofcom.org.uk/complain/landline/silent/?itemid=284912

hi , had calls from 08000641087, rang O2 up, if you ring 08000136671 you can stop this, do it from a landline its automated and they ask for you mobile number only. my o2 advisor did it to check on my behalf.

This number keeps calling me and cutting out as soon as I answer it. I can hear the call centre noise in the background. They have phoned me several times in the last week - very annoying!!!!! I spoke to someone when they called a few days later and it was O2 trying to offer a contract - I told them to remove me from the list as I didn't want the offer and they said they would. I am still getting the calls.

Just received a call from this number who stated it was 02. He asked if my mobile was for business use, when i said no, he asked if I was still running my business. Basically, I am a Director of a non trading company, so 02 have gleened this information from Companies House. This kind of information is in the public domian. So if your listed on Companies House as a Director, that's where they are getting your info from!!

Had a call from 02890530014 this morning. Never answered it as didn't recognise the number. Just had a call from 08000641087 now. This website says they are both linked to O2. A little coincidental for my liking, especially as I have an 18 month contract with them now... Shouldn't they know that!! Don't know how they have my number. I've had this number now 14 years (all be it a different prefix before 07 came out), and have always been careful with who I give it too.

Had multiple calls from 08000641087 over the last 6 months now. Answered once at work and it went dead. This sort of harassment should be illegal, now I've googled the number and saw all these complaints...I'm going straight to OFCOM. Hope the company goes into liquidation soon...

Very agressive woman pushing O2. was 'polite' when requesting she go forth etc and still kept harassing, do yourself a favour, put this number in your phone log as a nuisance caller and never answer it

These idiots keep calling me every day or 2. I refuse to answer it. I never answer numbers I don't recognise or witheld numbers. I figure if it's that important they will leave a message.

Please read the explanation on page 1. The only way to stop this nonsense is for every victim of these calls to complain to OFCOM. They are reluctant to act very quickly but, if they are inundated with calls, they will act.

They've called me a few times over the past few days. The first three times or so I ignored it, but I answered it today and they hung up (or my phone spazzed, which happens sometimes). Looks like I'm not the only one. If they call again and I get to speak to someone I will be very rude to them for having such a stupid job.

I keep getting call from this number. Don't hsve time to answer. It just rings once or not at all and I get missed call messages. I'm with TMobile on Pay as you go (Ive had this for about 5 years now). Its only been happening since I changed my handset just before Christmas. I have also been getting calls from 01512000500 and 02890530025 since I've had the new 'phone. I'll be contacting T Mobile soon!!

This caller rings but puts the phone down when I answer.

Why does this number keep ringing then does not say anything when I answer.
