Total Scam. Don't text them

I received an e-mail for what I beleived to be an Aldi promotion. It asked for my mobile number which I gave
I then received a text on my phone informing me that I had subscribed to a weekly competition which would cost £4.50 per week.
It said that I could cancel the service by texting STOP to 88595
I then received another text informing me that no "FURTHER" charges woukd be applied.
The word "FURTHER" implied that a charge had already been made so I phoned their helpline number 0800 0689042. They told me that I would have to complain inwriting to them to prevent the charge, so I e-mailed them and told them I would be contacting Phonepayplus (The Government Watchdog) if I was charged.
This is obviously a Scam, so don't contact either 88595 or 0800 689042
