They called my mom claiming to be my son, my mom's grandson and said they needed $4800 to get out of jail after he was in an accident. Got my mom all upset, she called my wife who called back and once found out what was going on chewed them out. Then he said well you dont have to be so mean.

same thing customer guy says I'm your grandson. I've been in an accident. I don't sound like myself because I was in a car accident I hurt my face and nose. I need money to get out of jail.

I got this call and managed to to keep this asshole on the call for 15 min. All you can do about these assholes is waist their time; it is a my new hobby while driving.

I said "hello", they didn't say anything back after 5 seconds, I heard a beep and a robot said "goodbye" and it hung up. Weird stuff.

This number called, I said hello, and they said, "Hey Grandpop, I have your Grandson" and hung up. I am a Grandpop with a Grandson and this call upset us

Yup! Got the same comment from some guy, saying he was my grandson and that he had been in an accident, that he had hurt his nose. I asked him who he was (because he didn't sound like my grandson), and when he told me, I just told him he had the wrong number and hung up on him. Real feeble attempt at scamming, if you ask me - never really got beyond his hurt nose... lol

Just got the call and when I asked who they were, said "I'm your grandson," I answered I don't think so, hung up and blocked the number.
