If you want to see something interesting search "SPOOFED PHONE NUMBERS" of which 000-000-0000 is only one of whatever number you desire to hide behind. You will see how helpless you really are and why the GOV_Do Not Call List Won't Work. Your only hope for complete relaxation is to do what I did. Look around on Ebay or any where on the Internet for a phone ring controller or a incoming call blocker, I see ebay has a couple at around $50-$60 but read the specifications carefully and make sure they will block "OUT OF AREA" and "000-000-0000" so don't go as cheap as possible, as of right now, this is your only hope. Verizon would not help me block these numbers, the Do Not Call List cannot work, it's not possible. There is equipment out there "Panasocnic with 30 number blocks" are OK but they still leave one ring get through, I have one in the garage and one in the bedroom. My main weapon sets on the desk called a "Caller ID With Ring Controller". I have it controlling the main phone on the desk and one large aux ringer, all other phone have there ringer shut completely off. You must check the specifications of what you buy but I see no other way out at this time.

calls my husband's cell multiple times a day....he works in a hospital OR and has to be accessible 25/7...what a pain ITA! he has better, more important things to do than deal with this. Every time they call, no message, and dead air.

Called saying they were calling on behalf of Microsoft and my computer was about to
shut down permanently. He had an express code but since he spoke with a foreign
accent I am not sure it was right. I told him not to call again and remove my number
from their call list. I then blocked.

Called said something after I yelled in phone cause it was time 55 they called she CLAIMED to be from government and when I asked her if she was bullying me she hung up.

(000)000-0000; the number belongs to a company located in MEXICO; named MRO COMPANIES thru GOOGLE MEXICO. also the number shows up as: V012216594800 which is listed as a "pre-paid tel card" also after a lengthy search the number is also tied into FACEBOOK.

They left an automated voice mail on my iPhone last night saying 'this is Payneer (or Payoneer?); your debit Master Card has been locked due to security issues. Press 1 to unlock it.' None of my credit card companies have my cell phone number, and I don't even have a debit Master Card.

I got the same call and an automated voice mail stating that my Chase Bank Mastercard has been locked. I don't have one. I called my M/C company and they verified that it is not them calling and that if an actual credit card company was to call, it would be a live person. This is a scam and do not give any information to them!

I use Tele-Zapper ( the most recent version ). It emits a three tone sound that zaps recorded messages on my phone. In addition, the computers calling me recognize the unique tones and take me off their list. It isn't perfect but it works often, but I see a big decline in the number of compuiter calls since I started using it, about three weeks ago. As for other nuisance calls, I never pick them up. I screen these calls and use the block feature on my phone on any call that has an unknown name or anything like that.

They called saying that they were giving me a gift card. I told them to take me off their list, and they said "No, we'll just try back. Any questions?" I said yeah, but they ignored me and said Okay! I realized it was a recording when they just repeated "Awesome...HA HA HA...Awesome... HA HA HA." I hung up and they called back. When my friend picked up my phone, you could hear "Awesome...HA HA HA...Awesome...HA HA HA." They called back three more times but we didn't answer.

Bunch of spammers, but creepy as hell. If I have AT&T, how do I block this?

This number called me. and that person said it was my mother, but my mother is gone. They were saying i'm still in Denver, NM. then hanged up. whoever did that is f***ed in the head!

I never pick up call I do not recognize. These are scammers. I hook up my line to fax machine. I agree that we should not pick up any numbers we do not recognize and get these scammers out of business. Obviously the government does not protect us against these scammers and harrasement. The government lets the phone companies make money buy giving the scammers service, therefore, then scamming us.

I too have gotten the phone call for two days straight.. So I choose not to answer it as well but when I tried to hang up a got a very loud abusive dial tone.. each time.. So who is this person calling. I thought it was in regard to the elections... not sure.

Today My Number Was Up ! I got 13 Calls From Them. I Do Not take Calls From
Unknown Numbers, But When I Saw The Number I Thought It Was A hack, So I Logged
In On The Desktop To Submit This Report. I Can't Block These Guys Because I Traded My Android For An iPhone, Bad Move, No Call Control. As For The Calls, If There Telling
People ( I'll Cut You Like A Fish ) Thats A Whole New Level, Contact The F.B.I. As For
My Apple, I Think I Want My Android Back So I Can Have My Call Blocker

I never answer calls I do not recognize. I block them and/or hook up to fax machine. These are just scammers.
