I have been receiving these calls for about a week now, and at first they where not leaving messages. Today they did, the guy sounds like he is from India . He said his name was Eric Foster! Then they called right back , so I finally answered. (while recording them)They told me that I owe over 8,000 dollars to some bogus company that I have never heard of. The scary thing is they have a lot of my information, full name ,address, last four of social ,and job info. They said that if I didn't settle out of court to pay, then they would call my job and make them aware of the situation. And I would go to jail!!! When I told them to give me there information, so that my lawyer can contact them. They hung up!

I have been getting calls on and off for about Seven months now and when i pick up the phone they don't say anything. They either stay on the phone or hang up. I am sure i know who is doing this. I had an Anti-social- neighbour for Four years and i believe they found out my phone number through my diary sheets i sent to the council. They have moved to a different area now. But still getting the calls.

I got a similar call, saying I owe money to a cash lending service and the company was filling a lawsuit. The also sounded like from india to me.

Supposedly a scam to get personal info. Call may be based from a 3rd world country called Nigeria.

Enter these numbers, 000,111,222 etc into you telephone address book and set for "silent" ring. If you do not have a silent option, record silence as a ringtone and label it as such. You will never be bothered by these calls except to be aware of call waiting if they should happen to call while you are on another call.

The FCC AND Verizon are both useless. They refuse to take any action. Verizon has their own scam of wanting me to pay for another service to help me not answer these calls. Hello? The Do Not Call Registry is nothing but a joke and these telemarketers know it!
