I have gotten many calls from this number and so as my family so I tried blocking the number but Verizon (My phone service) Does not recognize this as a real number and wont let you block it.

I have been receiving calls from this number non stop and other random numbers like 81 and 002781... When I asked who they were they said US department of finance but were super hesitent and kept asking if I am me. I ignored and hung up. Later on my fiance chewed them out and told them to quit calling or we would track them and create a case against them.... They continued to call. And it's some Indian guy every time who only cares about my name and wanting confirmation of who I am.

im very disturbed on how some of these people are getting my information to call me. they know my name and when i tell them its not me they asked me to be there girlfriend from phone number 0000000000

I work at a local business and I got a call from this number this morning and they wanted to speak to the person in charge of our phones and when I said no the said F*** you too and hung up. Disgusting!

Same number called me saying they were Windows and I have a lot of junk files and my computer will stop working in 5 hours. Obviously they want to scare you into trying to take over mouse and show you Trojans so they can refer you to another company that "cleans up computers". You should call you anti virus company and mention to them the situation and they can always check it out for you. Do not let anyone take over the mouse on your computer unless you know who you are dealing with. You can always put them on a do not call list or if they call on a land line and you have a block section, you can block the number. In any/all events you can start talking about your other problems and they will hang up on you.

I get calls from this number ALL the time. I don't answer them any longer. I've tried to be nice, I've yelled and screamed not to call me. they just keep calling. Unfortunately, Time Warner does not allow you to block a number with all zeros in it. Just DO NOT believe ANYTHING these people say. You may also contact the Treasury Department at www.TIGTA.gov 800 366-4484 and complete a claim form. It's very easy. Perhaps, if enough of us complain, the govt. will do something. HA!!
