My boyfriend had a missed call from 10000 while he was at work. When he went on his break he checked his voice mail. The message that was left said something about important message do no disregard this message. This is Lisa Brown(even though she could barely speak english) contact me at 646-504-7863 as soon as you can. He called this number and they proceeded to tell him that he had pending federal charges of check fraud and attempt to decive attached to his paypal account. This of course caused us to freak out until we looked up the number and putting two and two together that they were very eager to get his account information he hung up right away. Do not give these people any of your bank account information I'm thinking they will use it to drain your account.

I got the same situation and i dont answer any phone call with weird numbers .... at all even unknown calls ...

saying there a case against my name

they called my number today and told me my wife was under federal investigation for some criminal charges!! when i told them to send the information to lawyer they took my lawyers info and then proceeded to tell me he "wanted to F*&k my wife and he would give me $200 a night!!!" so i am now taking the necessary steps to file harassment charges and to sue. AS SOON AS I get info on this matter i will share with everyone!!

Called me today, 1/11/11 and told me I had 3 felony counts against me for some online check cashing. told me i had to pay up now and give him my account number to debit my account. Said his name was Paul Smith but his name is Albul or something like that. His part time job is serving slurpies at local quickie mart. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS.....

These people have been calling my boyfriend for months claiming that he owes them money or something. Just this morning, they started calling my phone number and asking me about him! They say they are from a company called FinCIS. I looked up this company and they are a private investigation company based in southern California. My boyfriend and I are on the same phone plan, and this is the only way I can figure out that they have gotten my number. Their website is very vague and this seems like a scam. They started asking me for my information right away and I told them never to call my number again. We'll see how that goes...

They call me as well and have been very over a year. They run the scam for about 1.5 months and when nothing turns out good for them they stop and take a 2-3 month break. Then they start all over. All of the research I have done leads me to believe that they call form overseas most probably Croatia and unfortunately there is nothing we can do about this problem. All I can suggest is either hang up immediately or get as much info as you can and report to Attorney General, FTC and FBI. If they will not give a mailing address or send you any paperwork via the mail they are most definitely a fraud and should be ignored.

These people call me and claim I owe taxes, and then the last time they called before that they were trying to give me a loan (same people mind you). So now they are saying I am under an investigation, but when I looked them up I found out that they are a scam, and are trying really really hard to get my bank information. They harass me, threaten me, and yell at me on the phone... sound legit huh? I wish there was a way to may them stop without me having to change my number!
