Receiving text messages from this number which is a man I met on Tagged. Says his name is Kurt, but originally said it was Kent. His Tagged ID is KB.

Claimed he was Hayden Joseph from Santa Monica Blvd., CA then San Diego, CA and then some beach. He said he was a world traveler and is into antiques. He sounded more like a woman to me when he was talking. After a few times talking to him or her. I said that I was mad at him and not to call me anymore. He said that he was mad at me and I never texted back.

She went by the name Jessica Solomon, 31, from Alaska, visiting her grad mum in Nicaragua. First she text my phone pretending to already know me. Telling me she would send me pictures of her and never did to my email. Telling me she will see me soon and saying i love you my husband. When trying to find out who she was and what she looked like she would never say. Also, she uses the email address jessicasolomon@yahoo.com

The person is now using the name Elizabeth Clinton, and is now running an online work scam. She posted a listing for a customer service representative position for Mars Technology Company, located in South Carolina. Mars Technology Company does have a website, and is in South Carolina. She "hired" me after an application process. She then said she would send a cashiers check so that I could purchase office office equipment provided by the company (a HP computer, fax/scanner/copy machine/phone/supplies). I received the check by Fed-Ex for $2,930.00. I took the cashiers check to my bank, and told her it would take 5 days for the funds to become available. This is standard policy from my bank. She then asked me to go ahead and send in $2780.00 to get the process rolling while waiting for my bank to clear the funds, meaning the funds would wash then...and I would keep $150.00 as a start-up bonus. Thankfully, I only have a debit card that is tied to my bank account, so I can't possibly use money from the account unless it's cleared. She became upset that I was witholding the money, and threatened to turn me in. I called my bank, and they said that the check is a counterfeit, and they would return the check to me via mail. When I contfronted Elizabeth, saying that the check is counterfeit...she attempted one more time to scare me. I then told her to go ahead and report me, because I have the fraudulent check in hand...and the full support of my bank behind me. That was the last I heard from Elizabeth.

This is a really good scam that almost worked. I did notice once I received the check, it was from Austin Texas, which made me pause. Elizabeth said that she has a residence in Texas, travels back and forth a lot, and still uses her credit union there. I also noticed that Mars Technology Company is a real company that turns home movies and moments from VHS tapes and puts them on DVDs or BlueRays for people.

met this woman by the name of katherine anderson. said she was from italy and has an 8 year old daughter and that they live in san antonio, tx. we chatted for about 3 hours, but something just wasn't right, now i get this text from this phone number. sometimes her english would be perfect and sometimes not so good. i have her another email acct that does not have my real name and birthdate for this very reason. if i find it suspicious, i give the bogus one out.
