I recieved 3 letters from capital one (the credit card people) about a possible fraudulent account opened on my behalf. At first I ignored it, because I was busy....and besides all the letter arrived at the same time but postmarked with different dates and 2 of my previous addresses.
Then one of my previous employers, that I still talk to on FB messaged me that capital one had called asking to speak to me and explained that it was to confirm a possible fraudulent account opening.

I never applied for a credit card with them, therefor I called them. I spoke to an agent, he asked me for the case number of the letters I had recieved and the last four of my social, then proceeded to tell me that it was very important that I contact the credit agencies. (he mention the usual 3 companies). He told me that he would take step to ensure the account was closed.

at no point did I give him my number (I used my cell) but after we hung up, I recieved my first strange text with that code- 11113......
then again later that night
and once more the next day.

has anyone esle noticed that when look up this number online it takes us to pages with advertizing for credit score stuff or other similar ads?

through text msg i have a tracking system i want this illegal activity stopped they are copying my lg phone n internet operations

I keep getting blank texts from this number. I cant understand why if a complaint was filed with the FCC back in 2009 why something hasnt been done.

both my wife and I received calls simultaneously from this number...it charges us 2/3 of a minute rather than 1/3 we both have trac phones, bought at different times with numbers that are vastly different. How can they use up our time and WHO ARE THEY? we do not respond because we are afraid that will lead to more charges...is there any recourse?

I also..have a net 10 cell and..keep getting texts that say "untitled" It doesn't display anything it's just blank.
