Fake number to hide their real identity

Just got a call from this number and they were telling me (TRYING to tell me) in very bad english about my Windows having malicious spyware. I told them right off that I thought they were bogus. They hung up before I finished the sentence....proving that they were bogus!

PC rescue/recovery/protection. Claim to be calling on behalf of MicroSoft, but MicroSoft denies any knowledge of this company. This is the 2nd call rec'd from this entity TODAY!!!

I got the call from an operator who doesn't speak clear english.Said said that she's calling from collingwood resort and that couples have been selected for (something i didn't understand) and that her manager was going to call us tomorrow. I said no but then it was silent.

This number called my mother and claimed that they were calling about the mortgage on their house. My mom doesnt have a mortgage. Wonder what scam this one is
