Same script as the others. This is the 5th call within two days, but yesterday's was an area code out of Washington, DC. Someone please catch these scammers. Surely we have computer techs just as clever as these scammers and should be able to track them down.

The number they tell you tio call is 315-636-5034, which is a landline based out of new york. I am going to try and get an IP address so we can shut the site down.

I have been receiving these calls from various numbers over the past week. Some of the calls even appear to come from Washington DC. Each caller has a different foreign accent, and informs me that I have been randomly chosen to receive a grant. When asked who they are calling on behalf of I am told The US Government Grant department. Most times I have just hung up or told them I am aware this is a scam, and that they should not continue to work in an industry that seeks to harm others, that they should be ashamed of themselves. This time, I patiently waited for her to explain herself and she asked to verify my name, and address, which she did know. Then she repeated that I was selected to receive the grant from the Department of health and human services, because there was a democratic survey done in my state or town and they randomly chose people who had no criminal history, no bankruptcy filing in the last 7 years, and who filed their taxes each year. She asked me to get a pen after confirming that I was eligible, and to write down the number of her supervisor financial department to complete the process. I told her I had a few questions first, 1. What info will your supervisor need from me? (nothing, you are approved) 2. What department did you say you were calling on behalf of (The US Government department of Grants.) 3. Oh ok then, could you please provide me with the official website for that Government department? (no, there is no website) 3a. Well there must be a website, because all official US government agencies and departments have websites, please could you tell me the one for the Department of US Grants? (you are not asking me, you are telling me that there is a website, you are not asking me for one.) 3b. No ma'am, I am asking you, I would very much appreciate if you cold tell me the website for that government department please. (I can not provide you with that information, you will have to call my supervisor)
I then informed her that I would not be calling anyone, but if there was someone there who would like to speak to me, I would be more than willing. Again she tried to tell me that I was selected for a once in a lifetime grant which I would never have to pay taxes on or be required to pay back. I told her that I understood what she was trying to tell me, but that it seemed to have some inconsistencies, because the US government would not have a program like this, if they did, they would have all the necessary info about me and have no need to try to confirm my information, her inability to provide a website was not how a US government professional would behave, and finally I was confused by her insistence that the grant would never need to be repaid, as a grant is traditionally not money you have to repay, it is not a loan. She then hung up on me.

Same deal as most everyone, I think the accent is middle eastern. Telling me I was selected for grant from United States government. I had previously gotten a call the day before from an Asian woman with the same MO but it came up with No Caller ID. Would love to have a bull horn as well.

In the last 2 days I have received 5 phone calls from this number all wanting to give me gov grant money. I told them the first time politely not to call my number and every call I gotten after I gotten a lot more direct. I just took the compressed air horn out of my boat for the next time they call! Maybe it stop after that one. These people need to be stopped. They all have very thick accents..

Some rude ignorant souless Asian behind the speaker telling me I have been chosen to receive a grant from the United States Government. She needed all my information so to process the transaction which included my SS number, a credit card number for verification of my identity, my home address, and also an IP number of my personal computer. Amused by these questions...I then decided to pretend to be the owner of a local Chinese restaurant and stated my known local name was Mr. Chow; however my legal name was the one she was calling about. I kept pushing this weeks special "pork fried rice" and kept asking her what she wanted to order. I then asked her if she was that crazy slant-eyed lady who kept trying to place fake orders for spring roll. She got angry with me and stated I was wasting her time, I then replied by saying "ok I sorry, please hold on so I get the one you call for..." I then spoke on the phone asking her why she was still holding. I then said my name was Donald Sutherland and that she had won a prize for being the biggest Asian D-Bag award for 2015 and she was legally obligated to provide me with her SS Number, address, personal phone number, photo ID, IP address of her phone & computer, and the times she was home alone so that ManBearPig could visit and stuff her like a Thanks Giving turkey...she then hung up on me. How disappointing. Dumb lady lol.

I have had all of the above things occur to me. They are relentless. They call multiple times daily. They are all foreign. They all state that they are from the US government. If you question them, expect to get cursed out and hung up on!!! What a nightmare. I just want the calls to stop.
