It's the "windows" scam ... the number is spoofed and not really where they are calling from (which is most likely India). Just hang up on them as they are trying to scam you into entering information on your computer so that they can install malware and a virus that will steal all of your information. If you want more information on this scamming routine just google "windows scam" and you'll get about 34,000,000 hits ... it's been around for quite some time and it's surprising that enough people are still falling for it that it's worth the time for these slimy scammer to continue calling.
These tech support people will give you a company name they claim has been hired by Microsoft to help fix your computer. I get them calling from this number listed, also from Anonymous Caller, plus two other numbers. I will not give them access to my computer. Only my cousin gets that. A man named Sammy Smith with heavy foreign accent always calls me. I have called Microsoft who tells me they do not hire out work to other companies. Plus their tech support do not call you... you must call them.
Foreign with a lot of background noise ; asked for my husband said calling from Windows support. He has NEVER used or registered a computer. Hung up quickly.
