Some called claiming to be from the US Treasury department and starters that we were randomly selected to receive a grant.
Received call at 4:20pm today. When I answered and said hello twice they hung up. I blocked the number. From all reports filed I believe they were phishing to see if my number was real to call back later and try to Scam. Not!!!
Foreign person called and told me the government was going to send me $8500 via money gram and gave me this # to call back 202 657 4176. I just listened to what he said and took down the # he gave me for money gram pick up and # to call. Did not pursue this. Know it is a scam.
