They called saying they were from Microsoft and they have been sending me messages about shutting my computer down that I haven't been responding to. They said someone has been hacking into my computer from all over the world. His name was "Sergio" and he sounded like he had a Middle Eastern accent...

It did not pass the smell test. I just wasted her time, and ran her in circles by playing dumb. Nothing like wasting their time. Any time they waste is not time they have to find a victim.

SCAM!!!! I have received calls from 1-311-923-5440(when called this number back, does not ring, ends call) beginning 4/5/16, claiming they were from a software licensing department. The man had a mid-eastern acent and I could barely understand him at times. He further stated that hackers have acessed my Microsoft Windows 10 software license and that I am vulernerable for my computer to be hacked. He mentioned hackers are getting ahold of peoples software and using their computer, names in scams. He mentioned hackers from Russia and China have been making attacks on US computers taking individuals information and using it for illegal scams. Asked me have I been seeing messages pop up on my computer and I said no, other than to renew my security software and that I have not even used my computer in weeks. he continued to say "Oh yeah, that is how they have been able to get your information." They claimed if I would get onto my computer they could tell me where to go to read off each individual warning. I continued to tell them that I had just recently renewed my McAfee and the time between its experation and renewal I was covered under Microsoft Security program. He continued to insist that he could tell me exactly who was trying to get onto my computer if I signed on and followed his prompts. I then informed him I was not by my computer and to contact me after 5P. I also asked him how do I know he is legit and he continued to insist I give him the software license code, he would give me information to a website where i could see it was legit. I also asked for a call back number and they provided 1-800-202-1010 (when I called this number it stated that it could not be reached from my calling area.) I went to the Microsoft Website looking under SAFETY and Security tab and they stated everything they were telling me is how they are able to acess your personal information, account numbers, passwords, and other sensitive info. They have you go to a website that allows remote access to your computer, stealing your info or try to sell you phony software or get you credit card info.

Some lady from India from the "computer licensing department at Microsoft" claiming someone is hacking into my computer. I am pretty confident my employer's "licensing department" would be calling me at my work number if they suspected this.

This tool keeps ringing my phone like he's something. He knows he's gotten on my nerves which is why he's calling back to back to back.

As an FYI to the people out there who get these calls/ texts, day in & day out, here's what I've gathered....

These scamming asswipes use free calling/texting apps to contact consumers to bilk them out of funds or to just be all around fraudulent for financial gain. Whatever you do, if you don't know who you're speaking to or don't know the number, never give your info out. And for the love of jeezy, don't allow them remote access to your computer, that's just a dumb tactic employed, but some do fall for that scheme as well.

Cheerio to those who are potential victims, and a big fuckall to those who scam innocent people out of their hard earned livelihoods.
