Definitely scammer, what good is do not call list???
Credit Card
to lower credit card rates--claiming mto be card services
The pre-recorded message warned me my credit card rates were increasing and hit 9 to talk to an operator to reduce them. I hit 9 in order to talk to someone to request that they remove me from their marketing list. I was told by the operator to "shut up" and then the call was disconnected.
The usual "card member services" scam, warning my credit card rate would be going up, press 9 now to talk with them about getting it lowered. I didn't press anything but it went through anyway. Man with what sounded like an Indian accent answered so I blew my whistle into the receiver. The number is undoubtedly either spoofed or an overseas number that doesn't show all the digits. I constantly receive illegal calls for this scam but many different #s show up on the caller ID.
