Hoy 25 de Noviembre, recibe una llamada de un supuesto sobrino mio centro americano. Queria que yo lo reconociera unica mente por su voz y me decia que era del sur de centro america. Pero yo por su tono de voz, reconoci que no era centro americano. Entonces le dije que el era mexicano porque reconoci el acento mexicano. Le insisti dos or tres veces que era mexicano entonces el iso una pausa quedandose callado. Entonces le dije yo de que parte era de centro america me dijo que era de guatemala. Entonces le pregunte de que parte era de guatemala ya no me respondio pero todavia no colgaba. Y yo le hable diciendo hello hello dos o tres veces entonces colge. Regrese la llamada al numero que habia registrado en mi identificador de llamadas y me contesto una mujer en ingles y me dijo que no hablaba en espanol. Entonces yo le empeze a hablar en ingles diciendele que alguien de ese numero me habia llamado y ella me contesto que nadie me habia llamado de ese numero. Es la segunda vez que me llaman de esa manera. La primera vez me pidieron mil dolares pero no me convencieron.

A person pretending to be my cousin called my mother last night saying he was coming to Toronto on vacation and was going to try to visit us. He said his flight would stopped over in mexico. Today he called her back to ask for help saying that he was detained at the airport in Mexico for not declaring money he was carrying in excess of $10K. He said he was imposed a fine and needed someone to help him pay so he could get his money back and be on his way. He offered to pay us back and give us $1000 more. He even put on a supposed lawyer on the line that was working on his behalf at the airport. This conversations was all in spanish. My mother gave them my number and they called me. I was suspicious about his mexican accent since my causin has never lived in mexico. When I started to ask questions they hung up. Then I googled this number and found all the reports of this scam. Thank you for sites like this!!! We also called relatives to inform them of the impostor. CAREFUL with the stuff you post on facebook and how much info you give anyone that calls you on the phone.

This male called several times pretending to be a family memeber from Mexico and knew some names of relatives. He didn't like it when I started asking questions and hung up on me, but persued to call the number again. We have contacted our local authorities and have given them the infrormation.
