The person called today at 11:05am claiming he was my cousin from Juarez. He said he was calling from Mexicalli. He made me guess who he was and said he did not have my parents phone number. He wanted to surprize them. I did give him my moms number but called her to warn her about scams. She did speak to him, and it so happens my real cousin had been in Mexicalli so it sounded authentic. But my mom mentioned his voice sounded different. He claimed he had a sore throat. Then he called back saying he had hit a white car. My mom then knew it was a scam and told him off then hung up. This is the first time this has happened. Pretty scary and desperate stuff.
