Got a call from some foreign sounding guy saying the U.S. government wanted to send me a grant for around $5,000. Said I had to download "TeamViewer" (a remote access program to control my home PC) and that I would be connected to the FBI. He didn't specify any department. Then he told me I needed to register with Western Union to "verify my identity."

When I questioned the process he became agitated and seemed determined to make me do what he wanted. I asked to speak to his supervisor and "someone else" with the same voice came on the line and proceeded to get angry with me for questioning him.
I asked what company he was calling from and the only answers were: "the U.S. government" and "Health and Human Services". I asked where he was located and he said "Seattle, Washington" even though the number showed up as local to me (I'm not in Washington).

DO NOT DO ANYTHING THEY ASK YOU TO DO!
