This scammer calls numbers on the national do not call list in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by refusing to provide an address or phone number when asked. They claim to be the United Stated Government Grants Department and that the victim has been awarded a $9,000 US Government grant. This is clearly not the case, as receiving this kind of grant requires applying for such a grant... Do not provide this scammer with any personal or financial information.

I just received a call from this number, when I didn't cooperate, the caller (from some offshore boiler room) became downright obscene and abusive. Beware.

Over the last couple of weeks I have received several calls from this number several times. They say they are with a Government program letting me know that I am eligible for a $9000 grant that I will never have to repay. I was given a phone number of an agency that would assist me in collecting my grant money. I didn't call the number.
