this number has called my home 6 times today. We have never answered and never will. Sooner or later they will get tired of calling.

Claimed to be from Microsoft and wanted to remote connect to my wifes computer because it was sending out a virus.
She told them to go away, but they would not hang up the phone

Reports indicate that if you give them access, they will install sniffer software to access your passwords and banking information.

Also got the same called tonight, the guy called 3 times within 15 mins! I informed him that if he called again that I would report it as harassment and he said he would keep calling and calling....no more calls so far tonight. I contacted the local RCMP and they gave me a phone number to call on Monday to report the call. The phone number is for the Anti-fraud department, if anyone else would like to contact them the phone number is 1-888-495-8501. I certainly plan on calling first thing Monday morning!
