I got a call from Ultrashield Software Inc. and I spoke to Kevin Ambray and he took access of my computer to fix internal problems. The usual stuff. At the time I should have realized that he had charged me one time fee. After today and I dont have proof but my bank account was hacked. The bank had to lock my account. I will get that fixed tomorrow. What Im sensing is that when he charged me a one time fee I now realize that this is a scam. What company would charge you one fee. Usually all these tech companies have renewals ever year.
He (Kevin Ambray) did the same thing to me. I foolishly gave him access to my computer and he pulled up lists of social security numbers, passwords and credit cards. When I said I couldn’t afford to pay the fee, he started deleting whatever he had supposedly fixed. Was he able to steal all my personal info from my computer? What should I do?
Fake Microsoft
Microsoft scam call. This is getting old! Reporting to Illinois Attorney General.
I got a call from him posing as a microsoft rep, trying to help me with my computer security. He asked me to log in to a site giving him access to my computer and I looked up the number, saw it was a scam and hung up. He called back from a blocked number and I told him I knew it was a scam. He got angry and said something in another language before hanging up.
