Using scam that they hv a friend who told them that the govt is after me...told them to remove me from call list. Kept talking..so i said remove me from effing cl list & they h/u.

This is 100% scam. I don't know how they are getting people's names but I decided to screw with the guy a little and pretend I was at my pc etc. Once we really got into the real stuff, he was full of crap. He is foreign-SHOCKING- and needs to get a real job and quit scamming people. Hang up on these guys and block their calls asap!

I got the same call, twice. It sounded fishy but he knew my name, etc.
Then, I told him I don't trust he is who he says he is and asked to talk to his boss, he gave me his phone number, which I then googled and it is a real tech company, so I'm a little surprised by this. WinMac solutions?
Anyway, I don't believe they would be calling me, sounds fishy so I hung up on him.

Also had this call. The guy on the other end actually had the IP to my router. Wanted me to complete some steps on my computer to get rid of malware. I told him please send the info to my Microsoft acct. He refused, and I told him goodbye and hung up.

They claim that there is something wrong with my computer and then try to get private access information.
