It said falsely claimed my credit card company (Mastercard via USAA) had agreed to lower my interest rate and my monthly payment. I knew this was fraudulent because I do not carry a credit card balance month-to-month. The voice (female) urged me to press "1" to have my rate reduced or to press "2" to be taken off the list. Then the recording said, "whatever you decide, please press 1 to take advantage of this offer." I did not press any buttons and said "representative." At that point, they hung up the call.
