Called for a loan i never got. He tried saying i will be prosocuted and i will spend x mas in jail. He mentioned about my ssn # etc. I made a police report

Great, I just got a call for an Alfredo. I told this idiot to stop calling or I'm calling the police. The number won't block. Gee thanks AT&T!

The same thing happen to me, foreigner calling me saying I owe money, and I know that I never borrow any money from these people. I know its a scam

I get calls from this number and other numbers saying that I owe money on a loan that I never received. I have told them to fax me information and they won't. They call my work, my husband, and my brother. They threaten to put me and my husband in jail. I am tired of these phone calls and want to know how to get them stopped. They did this two years ago and just started back up this year.

I have been receiving calls from this number from someone with an American-sounding name (Derek something or other) but with a strong Indian accept, claiming to be "your ATM" and saying that "a friend" had "taken legal action" against somebody or something. He did not make much sense and I could only decipher half of what he said because of his accent, but having received nothing in the mail nor in my email I can only conclude that it's a scam.

Some foreign woman just called my house and asked for me, knowing that this was probably a scam like the last time someone called with this accent, I told her I wasn't here. She then said take this message that she needs to call us about an emergency matter by 8:30 tonight. I hung up and then she called again and I looked on the caller ID and saw a foreign # I did not answer. This woman then called my mother's cell phone and asked for me. My mother who was standing in front of me told them that she hadn't seen me in a while. The woman said to gave me a message and my mother hung up. The woman then called again and my mother told her to stop harassing her and that she would not give messages to me from unknown people and that if the woman did not stop calling we would call a lawyer and the police. The woman called again within seconds. My mom said look I am a very ill woman and could die at any moment you need to stop calling and harassing me. The woman at the other end didn't care. You see my mother has a very bad heart and can not take stress. My mother hung up and they called again I answered this time and told the woman to stop harassing my mother or I would call the police and a lawyer to sue them for harassment. I hung up and then they called 4 more times on her phone, please note I have never given my mother's # to anyone. After not getting my mother they called the house # 4 more times, I let the answering machine pick up hoping they would leave a message for me to report, but they didn't. Beware this # and scam.

A gentleman has been calling one of our employees several times and says it's an emergency. Employee comes to the phone and tells the gentleman that this call was not an emergency and not to call her employeer again. This was
earlier in the week. 9/29/10 he has called again 3 times.
The first time, I repeated what the employee told him the first time and he continued to be rude. I'm not even the person he wants to speak to. Will report further if I have to.

I got a call on my cell phone and one at work. They new the last four of my bank account number and what bank it was from. My local police department recommends calling my bank and getting a different account. What sort of legal action can I take?

Okay this is crazy seriously. I have been getting constant phone calls from this number and the people that are calling have very heavy indian accents. When I decided to answer the call the female on the other end name was Sonia Kelly, she stated that she was calling about some legal actions filed against my identity. I asked her is there someone I can talk to so that I can get further information regarding these allegations. She said okay sure let me transfer you to our legal department. I then heard a beep and a gentlemen with a strong indian accent picked up the line with an aggressive tone. His name was Jeff Williams. As he started to speak i stopped him and stated that I knew that this company was a scam. He said anybody can be found on google and people can report whatever they want. At that moment I said okay so where are you calling from, he stated I'm calling from ACS. I said, "ACS I'snt that child services"...LoL, he then said oh no ATS I said oh okay and where are you guys located, he then went on and said why do you need to know all of that information. I said well I need to no more about the people that are suing me. He said ms. that's not a need to know basis. I said well this is what you need and will know. I am going to call my lawyer and have him discuss these matters with you over legal and factual documents. The man then stated you don't need a lawyer you just need to pay what you owe. I said Mr. you need to kiss my ______ and find somebody else to get over on.. I have been making a honest living and if anyone messes up anything with my name I will hunt you down and destroy you. At that time I think he got the picture that I am not playing with him so he got mad and hung up. Now I am going to file a complaint with the police department and the FBI. I am also going to harrass them the same way they did me. I am going to keep bothering them the way they bothered me. Lets see how they like this.

A man saying his name was Andy. Could not speak english very well. Called my work and said I owed money taht had been put into my bank account. I have never had a loan that has been deposited in my bank account. They would not give the name of the company that says that I owe money to. They said I just needed to hire a lawyer or pay money!!! Then they hung up on me...

Our credit scores and debts are all settled and fine but he keeps threatening to sue my sister. He will constantly leave messages regardless. I called my phone provider and they had the number blocked. his name is "Michael Lee" doesn't sound right with his accent...but he'll use a different name all the time. Yeah this was a really serious legal problem.. .NOT. He will call again and again... as he said in one of 10 messages...
