Got this call 10:20 a.m. CT, did not answer. Glad to see info here with warning. We also are on 'do not call" list....Caller ID just listed phone number. Tried to pull up the area code & it is not valid.

received a call from this # at 10:00 pm CDT, I am also on the do not call list so I let the machine pick up and there was no message. If this happens again I will answer then blow a very shrill whistle into the phone. Maybe whoever is calling will get the hint.

The caller wanted to do home maintenance such as duct cleaning, carpet cleaning and tile and grout cleaning. I foolishly gave them my address and told the caller that I would not be at home the next day when they wanted to come and give me an estimate. The caller who was male turned me over to a female who advised me that they would need a trip allowance of some $45.00 (this may not be the exact figure she quoted) . I immediately hung up ending the call. I live alone and am 92 years old. I have an alarm system which I set while I was away from home the following day. I believe that it was a scam. I am female.

Sweetie dont ever give out your information. There are so many preditors out there that pray on the elderly and I took care of my dad till he passed. If you need some help and dont have none I will kick somebodys butt 4 messin with you. I hate people that prey on our older and wiser loved ones

We received this call at 10:35 PM CST. I was a litt PO but my wife answered and they tried to sell some sort of cleaning. I sure wish some one woul cut their lines so not to bother people at late night.

I usually do not answer calls that are "unknown" but mistakenly picked the call today (thinking it was the call I was expecting). The very pushy lady tried to sell air duct cleaning and then carpet cleaning. I tried to stop and tell her we were on the Do Not Call List but she kept on interrupting me. I just hanged up.

From what I've read about this number it seems to be to be a scam number. If it was any type of business number and they wanted to talk business, they would not be calling my house @ 10:42 p.m. trying to talk to me about business...Will put on do not call list...This is the first & last time...

My called ID shows "Name Not Found" whenever this call comes in. They called me today, July 6 at 12:20 pm CDT and other times (usually between 10am and 5pm) over the past few months. As always, if I don't recognize the name I don't answer it.

MY mistake - the number on the caller ID was indeed 746-699-8811 and not 688; my apolgies.

Received a call from this number at 11:18 a.m. today. They left no message. When I called the number back there was a strange sound and then the operator-like recording came on telling me that I had reached a number that could not be dialed and to please check the number and try again. Hmm.....interesting. We are on the 'do not call list' also, but it doesn't seem to do much good!

Caller ID listed this phone number as 'NAME NOT FOUND" I strongly suggest that you contact your state's Public Utility Commision and file a complaint on line. It takes no more than 5 minutes. If we collectivly complain,maybe we can put some laws on the books they have a little sharper teeth.
