On May 29, 2012 at 9:31 AM I received a telemarketing call offering a credit refinance opportunity. The company misrepresented their identity by using a generic name “Card Services” in a recorded message. Their use of this title made the call appear to come from a department within a bank that I currently do business. However, this was not the case and the entity calling never identied themselves.

The company also misrepresented themselves using a Caller ID Spoofing tactic. The caller ID stated a false number 779-000-2214, received 5/29 9:37 AM.
