Calls and says nothing. Calls back multiple times. Aggravating !

calling 20 to 25 times a day trying to get your credit card info for a fake virus on your computer...

The phone number looked weird.
The call was useless.

Thick Indian person called at 8 a.m. on the dot on Thanksgiving morning and the first words out my husbands mouth were "You have got to be kidding me" as these ppl have called before about wanting to fix a virus on out computer. And as soon as my husband said that the guy replies " F You - You F'ing Blank Sucker this is a recorded line." My husband was stund. These ppl need to be stopped.

From a IT company that said they need to take control of my computer to fix problems that were reported to them regarding my computer. He had a thick Indian accent. Tried to keep me on the phone I cussed him out.

Fake number

Have been getting numerous calls from this number and finally answered. Foreign man said that there was a virus on my computer while I was doing business online and that they needed to remove it by letting him take control of my computer!!! I told him that my password was " Du- u-think-I'm-stupid," and then I hung up. He immediately called back and said that if he was trying to hack my computer that he wouldn't have given me info about where he was calling from. I told him that I was going to report him. He said that he was going to report me because I was misbehaving and he wanted me to wait so he could have me talk to his superior. I told him that I was going to report him! I then hung up.

Just received this phone call saying they need my computer to fix it because there was a virus in it. #1 How would these people know there was a virus on my computer? #2 How did they get our phone #? HMMMM!!! Sounds awfully phishy!

Called my computer and I said I wasn't interested and he said he was interested in me! Then proceeded to ask how old I was and said he waned to marry me! WTH!!

Spoke to two supposed "Windows" employees who called our home -- first man walked me through steps to show I have over 3200 Errors & Warnings on my computer. We actually WERE going to ship my new Vaio back to Sony this very week for repair/replacement; otherwise, I would have disregarded this incoming call. Once he eventually mentioned a fee I told him I was fearful they were scammers. He said he would prove to me he is Windows employee and also it was unlawful for him to ask for a credit card, that they would mail us an invoice for $70 - $100. I HAVE had tons of problems with my new computer (2 months old), including with Windows crashing and unable to start up -- but these Errors & Warnings on my screen this caller led me to date back several months before we purchased. He asked for permission to access my computer and that they'd call back in 10 to 15 minutes. I repeated I didn't know who they were, they called OUR home, so I said "sorry" and that I had to hang up on him -- and did. I'd better go turn off that other computer.

Caller ID showed "unavailable 800-123-4567. Said he "Arnold" was from Windows in L.A. and that my computer was downloading by hackers malicious stuff that could damage my computer. He wanted permission to take over my computer to fix these viruses. Naturally as all these reports show this is definitely another bad scam and I reported them.
