They were selling some fake PC repair or cleanup service. They said they had already identified something wrong with my computer (which of course they had not).

Rep keeps calling and claiming that they are from "Windows Services" and that there is a problem with my computer. Tell me I have a "security" issue and need to go to my computer and perform tests.

He said they had detected bad software (that would allow use my computer without my permission) on my windows computer and if I would get on my computer and let them remotely access my computer they would clean it up for me as I watched. He had an east indian accent. I asked them for a phone number that I could call them back on and they gave 323-399-6676. I called it and it said the person was not available.
