I make a it personal policy never to answer a number I do not recognize; 99% of the time it's just somebody wasting my time and theirs. If they don't leave a message on voice mail, then it's likely even more bogus.
Additionally, since I have my phone numbers on the National Do Not Call Register, the idiots who do call are in jeopardy of being reported, if they hassle too much. Only legit charities or businesses a person deals with are allowed. Or so I thought.
Especially annoying nowadays, with people out of work and waiting for potential employers to call them. But instead these jerks do more of the calling.

These annoying phone calls are plauging multiple cell phones on my plan. It is completely a scam and they are not even good at it. They claim that the warranty on my car is about to expire. The problem with that is that I do not have a car register in my name and the one I drive was purchase as a used long since out of warranty. So basically, the phone and car are under different names and the car doesn't have a warranty to expire. They are most likely just random dialing numbers and storing them to a call list if a connection is made.

Ok, for one, my truck was made in 1981!!! NO ONE in their right mind would warranty an almost 30 year old truck. And another thing... they called my friend WHO DOESN'T EVEN OWN A CAR!

I'm starting to get this call frequently and if they don't leave me alone i may sue for harassment.

One more of the many "warrantee" telemarketers, the below say. After googling this info, I simply labeled it in my "jerk" contacts, and then know never to answer it immediately. Timely, but fun thing to do. Perhaps you should try with your cell as well.

Just got a call from this number. I'm getting an increasing amount of what I call "phone spam" from toll-free or out-of-state numbers on my cellphone. My cellphone, btw, is not associated with any of my personal or business-ish stuff. I don't give out my cellphone number, so they're either using a dialing program to generate phone numbers or celularl services are selling our numbers.

This is about the 10th time they have called me saying "The Factory Warranty on your vehicle is about to expire". It is not about to expire and even when it does, I'm not going to use this company because they have called me so much.

I keep on getting this call weekly. The ONLY place I can
think of where they would have both my vehicle info
AND my cell number was for an oil change at a local Wal-Mart near where I work. My auto-dealer has my home number, and I usually get minor repair jobs done at my local mechanic. They also have my home phone only.

So, bottom line, personally, I believe Wal-Mart has sold my info as a way of making more money.

I ANSWERED THE CALL AND NOBODY SAID NOTHING. MY PHONE JUST HUNG UP SO I GOOGLED THE NUMBER AND CAME UP WITH THIS. I HOPE THEY DONT CALL ME AGAIN

When I answer the call a female machine voice tells me that I have a warranty issue that is unresolved. I have no such issues. This is at least the third time I have received this preposterous attempt at whatever it is the owner of the number is trying to achieve. I have become irritated with this and wish it could be prosecuted as a misdemeanor harrasment..

when you tell them to remove them you actually are telling them that you are real and that they can call you even more. just ignore them, do not answer. and they will remove you.

got the same call again today, this makes the
fourth time in 1 week, called BBB and they said to
log onto the National Do Not Call Registry and put my
cellphone numbers on the list. so i did, hope it makes them
stop!!!!!
