Unknown caller, 11:24 am. ET. I didn't answer. I don't answer numbers I don't know. Once the message machine went on I heard John, I am a medical alert specialist. Then he hung up. I think he must have thought someone actually answered the call.

got woken up, never answered the phone, tried calling the numver back, but kike everyone else, what number starts with 0, and it did;t work either, we never answer an invalid number, these guys should be shot, preditors

Said he wanted to update my security system. Not about to give that info to a stranger, so I said with much enthusiasm, "you're going to buy me a better shotgun?" He hung up.

Went to VM as I didn't pick it up. The screen gave the number (and as above, I've never heard of a phone number starting with zero, and I don't think it is possible) and below the number it said "Texas." No friends or family in Texas. Moved to a group of these numbers on my phone who get the same rude message when they call. ;-) I would like to hear from a phone person on the possibility of a number beginning with zero, so I check with my son, who is IT Director of insurance group in our state. He said "Not .in this country........................"

They are using a Spoofed number. Wanting credit card numbers for their service. Won't tell company name or service they supply. As I am on the State and Federal No Call List, I would not buy from them if there were a real company.

Caller ID reads "Name Unavailable". I answered the call and the person identifies herself as Lorraine from Security Solutions and I didn't say anything, then she said "hello are you there?".... then the call dropped. I have never seen a telephone number start with a zero so I called the number back and received a message that the number I dialed was not valid.

Called and didn't leave a message. I called the number back and got a recording saying the number I called was incorrect. So how do they call me from an incorrect number?

They spoof the number. They could even make it look like you are calling yourself

I got a call from 817-024-7862 at 10:38 AM on Wednesday, November 30th, 2016. The guy said his name was Pat and that his company (no name given) was updating all landline security systems. I told him our system had already been updated. I asked him to remove us from the calling list, but he hung up without further comment.
