said I had computer problem that needed fixing. scary part they knew my name and address.
The caller was claiming that my computer had downloaded viruses and that I needed help with it. I believe the company name was "pc advantage". When I asked him what viruses specifically, he hung up quickly. He seemed to have a thick Indian accent.
My computer has been spammed and they want to sell me something to find any virus's, worms or Trojan horse programs on my computer.
Said I had maleware & other stuff on my computer. He didn't get to say much since I continuously asked him how his company had access to my computer when we had no business with his company. I hung up with him after he started mocking me.
Remote cleaning of windows operating system accessing local service provider but was not from or representing the provider itself. Wanted computer, IP, key account and other information to allow remoe access.
