This guy says he John Cooper and give a 'badge' number to try to sound official and says he is from Publishers Clearing House and that I won 2.5 Million dollars and Cherry Red Mercedes Benz. He wanted me to go to Western Union and send $999.00 to Jermaine Binghams in Newport Jamiaca, which he said is located in NY. He does talk slow and it sounds like he is really wierd. SO, I called the REAL Publisher's clearing house seconds later and they verfiied this is a SCAM. If you get this phone call, get the guys name, phone number , the amount of money he wants you to send and what prize you are supposed to win. THEN CALL THE REAL PULBLISHER'S CLEARING HOUSE AT 1-800-392-4190. i got this number from their website http://info.pch.com/contact-us. Or you can fill out a form online. They work with the FTC to put a stop to these fraudulent scammers so Please DO REPORT the call. The more people that report it the better chance they have of catching this guy. There is no telling how much money he has taken from people already. (I did call the number back that appeared on my phone and he answered Publisher's Clearing House', so he probably has one phoone number for this scam).
