I am stunned this # isn't in Call Control's community blacklist already - as all of the following info came from Googling the phone # and reading the reports at 800notes.com! This # is being used by scammers who claim they are Microsoft calling because your computer is being hacked right NOW. If you believe them, they will walk you through instructions that will give them complete control over your computer including the mouse, and then demand you pay them $299 to get control over your computer back. Callers are always reported as having Indian accents, and they are very pushy - saying whatever they have to in order to convince you to follow their instructions to "protect" your computer. They might even tell you the $299 is the charge for these "protective" services if you still think they are the "good guys" by then.

Same here guys but I told him to call me back that i was not in front of a computer i googled it and i see its a scam, well he called back and told me to hit the windows key and hold down the rutton at the same time. Than he told me to type in the pop up box eventvwr and he asked what happened when i did that. I told him nothing cause he is a scammer and I started laughing at him. He to me to suck his d#%^. I started laughing and told him to get a job I really hope no one out there falls for this because Im sure these people will clean someone out. Becareful everyone.

is it possible that this number is one of those "spoof" apps that hide the original number and disguise the person's voice? because this person told me that they loved me and told me that there name was I love you...and repeatedly wanted me to say that I loved them! I figure that it is an Ex boyfriend?? but after looking at your post I guess its a hacker? but what would they hack? and why would he say that?

This guy calls me and tells me my Microsoft computer is messed up and I registered my Microsoft computer for something. I always tell them I have a MACINTOSH!! I win!

this man keeps callingmy cell number talking about he is from Microsoft and someone is trying to hack my computer, but I told him I was not on my computer. I told him to take me off theor call list as this appears to be fraud and when I call back the number it states not a working number. Please do not deal with these pepole as they are hackers

My husband got a call from this Jim Smith today,he said someone was trying to hack in to my computer,my husband told him he was lying and his name was not Jim Smith as he was Indian

Scammer with Indian accent saying works for Microsoft and someone for my info amd he needed me to log in to my pc. I asked when did you receive this notification, he said two weeks ago. I said I haven't logfes onto my home pc in three months. I told him he is the scammer. He said no. Then he proceeded to tell me how he loved me and wanted to love me. Huh? J Smith?

I got one Sat. Said they were Microsoft and I was being hacked. sounded like India. Told them I was not on computer. They hung up.

I picked up the phone and the phone call stopped. He had a puerto Rican kind of voice. The call lasted about 3 seconds

He calls me about 3 times aweek. Claims hes fbi. Everytime he calls, i tell him to swallow nuts and hang up.
