Can't something be done by the government to shut these people down? I receive 4 to 6 calls every week from this same group offering to lower my credit card interest rate. On a number of occasions I have asked to speak to a supervisor to request being placed on their "do not call" list. The reps either hang up or get very nasty and use vulgarities. They keep using different phone numbers to call. I have reported all of them and placed them on my "black list" but they just keep calling from new numbers.

likely spam; unecognized area code; often get calls like this they are always some baloney I do not answer phone unless I know the caller
