They claimed to call on Behalf of Microsoft Windows Technical Support and wanted to follow up regarding a Virus issue. They then wanted me to connect to a specific Website so that they can help me resolve the issue. I asked them to hang up immediately as it was a scam to access my computer and steal my identity.
after dealing with these idiots for the past 2 days that would not stop calling my wife
I told that indian sounding guy on the phone if he did not stop calling me that every time i saws one of those fortune telling diaper on their head hearingi wouldsimply kick hom in his balls.so you would be responsible for every one walking around here with his balls in his mouth and the phone calls finally stopped.
THIS IS A SCAM - NOT A REAL ADVERTISER
Claimed they were from Microsoft and that my PC was sending them errors and would crash soon and that required me to go to my PC and then they would do something. I'm not that gullible and after asking very specific questions they hung up. I don't know what they would have done if I actually followed what they wanted me to do. This is a widespread issue -Google the phone number and you will see many people getting scammed.
This # 999-910-0122 is a spoof as there is no such area code. They claim to be from Microsoft and ask you to allow them access to your computer over the internet so they can clean out a virus. The caller was a male and had a foreign accent. Middle Eastern is I had to guess. I asked them to take me off their call list and they hung up. They then called me three more times. They also called my mother at 817-277-5760. At same time as they called my 817-276-9905 number my fax machine also rang. Its number is 817-548-0316.
